World AIDs Day

This entry comes in a tad bit late but it has been a norm for me to talk about this issue every year and this year is no exception. There is definitely an awareness of this deadly disease and like every year too, there is no cure despite the advancement in the world of medicine. People continue to put on deaf ears on how we can slowly banish or at least control the progression to an extent millions of people need not have to lose their lives everyday. You've seen the ads on how one's social fun of even one night can have a harrowing effect on not just the individual involved but their loved ones too. Once this disease starts to creep into one's life, there is no turning back. We can try to educate people as much as we want and make them aware that AIDs is a poison that no one can extradicate from one's body once it enters and starts to break down our immune system. But no matter how much knowledge we can hold in our hands, we can also be powerless like any other fragile human beings and so if we can't handle the aftermath, do practise extra caution. One can never be too careful so don't think that we are being too demanding towards our partners because HIV can put on a mask so innocent that by the time we discover the 'face' behind the mask, there is no turning back. We can cry buckets of tears, remove ourselves from the relationships with the HIV carriers, it will always be too late.

Please spread the message around that AIDs is a deadly disease that no one should gamble their life over. We only live once so live it good and healthy. Be Aware. Be a supporter of the move against AIDs.
