Im Smellin' Good

I am smelling so good now..it's hard to imagine that I, ah, haven't bathed..hehe. While  I loathe my current state of mind in which I'm always checking whether he is online on facebook, which is quite a damper though I still enjoy checking out what people are up to, I like it when people take note of my status updates.


I actually got a mascara, a whole entire make up brush set, a bag and now perfume! I lamented about how I don't own a single bottle of perfume coz it's so freaking expensive. I know there's always pay day and it doesn't take up a whole lot of my pay, at least the balance of it, and also there is this thing called bonus, but I'm always thinking about how to feed my family until my next pay. While I'm at that, I forget to pamper myself :S


My all time favourite has got to be Hugo Boss Woman


If I were to get a perfume (at last!), it should be that. Or CK One. They're not too floral and not too musky but just nice for me like they give me this 'Im an independent woman' vibe..heh.


So my colleague read my humble status update, which I did not receive any comments, but she took note and she gave me these






They are just sample packs plus a small bottle of EDT which she willingly gave me from Body Shop though she had yet to find another bottle of the same thing at home. Currently I'm trying on the Love Etc sample and I love how I smell :)


She also said she knows what she wants to get for me during the Christmas exchange...*Sobs* I'm so touched.


Who needs guys then!


I feel so blessed knowing about all these and I can't thank these people enough for making me happy. So there IS something else, besides chocolates and money, to make me happy and you cant count this happiness! The kindness of people..

Being a Teacher isn't Easy

I work with teachers but I'm not a teacher. I actually work in the admin department and I like my job though sometimes it can be challenging especially when I feel swarmed by it. A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life.  He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most. Our First Group Meeting After Graduation

It has been a long time coming since the last time we met was on Graduation Day although I did meet up with 3 of them quite recently for a birthday celebration. I somehow never seem to miss out on any of the gatherings including the time when we went to a coffee shop after our stressful Econs exam papers. Still don't know how we survived that miraculously..haha.. Anyway, I've always been a silent supporter to this friendly bunch of people who always make me feel inclusive knowing that I am a lady of few words, haha.  We went to this restaurant called PU3 and although the service staff should really write down orders so that we don't always have to remind them that two of our drinks had not arrived get our orders wrong.
