Ronnie from Make Me a Supermodel

OOoOoo...another reality tv contest which I have no idea will make it to this small island of ours or not. Because instead of just showing female models, they have hunks. HUNKS, my friend...HUNKS!!! But I think it's not on equal par like as in the same number of guys and girls. I have little info on this show coz it just started. So I just hope they will show it here once the run is over..well, you know how things work on tv here!

Why am I so hyped up? Coz this guy just blows my mind off..hee

Im not able to get his photo up this page coz of..bloody copyright thing..and even though I can try to do something about that..but I dont think I want to go there coz it's from one of my fav sites. He's just got this nice set of bedroom eyes (for once, I know what that means!)

BUt I am able to let you see..a..sadly..pretty far away picture of his..instead of a closed up one. It's from the Bravo network which also featured another reality tv show called Project Runway which is now in the fourth season.

Picture from Bravo.

Unfortunately, you will probably label me a paedophile coz he's 24 which makes me..*cringe*..old, sad and single.

But it's okay.

NO I dont mean the paedophile part.

He's a full-time student at some US university so he wont be your typical dumb male model.

You know what, after weeks of hunks du jour, I think Im going into this period of 'i-hate-ordinary-looking-guys-on-the-street' so if Rahayu ignores your presence, Im sorry! I shall go through..again..for the countless times..of 'mind cleansing'. I think Mariah would find that very the familiar.

But this time with a little twist. Im actually cleansing my mind of images of hunks, such as dear Ronnie, (no matter how painful that can be..trust me) and then be back on earth. Yes, the good ol' boring old fart of a land..Singapore I mean.

Of course after I go through this painful ritual, which meant no surfing on the net for things related to hunks..models, actors, whatever..or reading episode guides or video snippets of hunks on parol in tv dramas, I will for sure go through this hunk cycle again.

I just want to tell myself that hey, I should go beyond physical attraction. There is more than meets the eye..crap..and Singaporean men do have things to offer besides being shallow, narrow minded and non attractive...or non hunky, I should say.

Let the cleansing begin!

Being a Teacher isn't Easy

I work with teachers but I'm not a teacher. I actually work in the admin department and I like my job though sometimes it can be challenging especially when I feel swarmed by it. Or when my boss keeps calling me for work related stuffs especially when she is doing the approval for payment or vetting through. So, the headache. Anyway, I can honestly say most teachers are really nice though some are really driving me up the wall. That or they are just simply aint nice but then, it is also because of their personality. But as teachers, they are really dedicated. I also deal with parents and honestly, they can be demanding and very irritating and they are not scared of the higher authority in school. To them, they are being like that all because they care for their children but they are overbearing as if they don't let their children make mistakes and learn. Plus, whatever their children said, they believe every bit of their story though they are not there to see for themselves an...

A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life.  He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most. You would always be the people's President. On the other spectrum, a young child had also lost his life. A few of my colleagues witnessed the events which unfolded in front of...

Our First Group Meeting After Graduation

It has been a long time coming since the last time we met was on Graduation Day although I did meet up with 3 of them quite recently for a birthday celebration. I somehow never seem to miss out on any of the gatherings including the time when we went to a coffee shop after our stressful Econs exam papers. Still don't know how we survived that miraculously..haha.. Anyway, I've always been a silent supporter to this friendly bunch of people who always make me feel inclusive knowing that I am a lady of few words, haha.  We went to this restaurant called PU3 and although the service staff should really write down orders so that we don't always have to remind them that two of our drinks had not arrived get our orders wrong. I mean it's for their customers' benefit and also their own so that they don' undercharge their customers. Just saying. They serve Nasi Ambeng served in a big dulang or tray that is meant to be eaten by 2, 4 or 6 people which is m...
