Spooked

I am officially spooked. I was listening to muttons late last night..or should I say thursday morning until about 1 plus. HOw was I listening to it? I was on my mattress and then listening to the mutton with an earphone plugged to one side.

Then I fell sleep close to like 2 plus only to wake like awhile later after the show and you know why happened?

Coz as I just woke up..like opening my eyes..and then the radio suddenly went off..and I thought I accidentally unplugged and tried to find my phone. Suddenly there was this long distance kind of background..you know...when you're trying to talk to someone quite far away. Then within that background, I heard this man voice sounding quite far talking in a strange language. I was like..huh...it was a phrase..followed by another phrase...to me it sounded like a cantonese or whatever language. Then I tried to find my phone again and then it dawned me.

I was officially spooked. Just as I found back my phone, the 987fm came back on again playing one of the radio trailers. I looked at the phone and it showed 987fm. If it was playing another radio station, it would have showed as such. Plus, it sounded far away so it could also not be the deejay on the mike for awhile and then off it again.

It occured to me...it could be supernatural. I immediately off it and my heart beat was racing quite fast.

Birthday Gathering & House Hunting

Last week, I celebrated a friend of mine's belated birthday together with another friend at her condo. Sadly, this would be the last time we would hold the celebration at her place because she has finally managed to sell off her condo unit after one year of looking for a buyer. Mostly we used the swimming pool facilities although the two of us didn't swim at all but just chill under the shade. We brought home cooked food and I really appreciated my friend for doing this for us, thinking about how the young son of a friend of us would love the swimming pool for kids. She is so selfless and kind to her friends and I'm truly blessed to have her in my life.  While one was selling off the house, the other friend was on the verge of getting a dream house for herself and her young son. In life, we have many priorities and things to look forward to. Each of our dreams and aspirations are different from one another, like for me, getting a house is not a priority at the moment.  ...

A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life.  He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most.
