"Terrible School...Terrible Week"

right...

that previous blog entry was kinda delusional...bwahahaa...! but i loved it. and if the real rory cochraine..the guy who played that character of tim speedle..were to chance upon my bloG and found out my homage to his dead character..he's gonna flip! like..'hello? i am NOT dead yet..thank U very much!'

anyway..i can't wait for the second episode..for the third season..and i already know who dunnit..k..i got some insider sources. Someone who bothers to write about the whole lengthy episode like it's some god-damned history essay..and believe it or not, I DID NOT SNOOZE when i read the whole thing...this coming from someone who falls asleep at the mere turn of a few pages in a picture book.

so how was my week? T-E-R-R-i-B-L-e...i don't know much about religion but i do know that if someone says something to you...don't look crappy, k? don't look like as if we don't exist that whateva words that come out from our mouth are mere irritating buzzing sounds coming from a small fly so u can swat all u want. Gawd..what's up with these people? here they are.....telling their little kindergarten children that God is Great..that we should help one another in times of need...despite any differences...like between an elephant and an ant. But NOW..when we look at them and smile or try to ask them where to put our laptop in the office..guess what they did?!!!!!!! They didn't even look at my colleague who was asking them..They merely looked up from their paperwork..and were like..'huh?!! ah..there lah!' with one of them just looked up and then back down to her work while the other just gestured to some small corner..like..'aiya..there lah! just go and don't bother us..' K, she didn't exactly said that second phrase..but her body expression bloody well said that..! Then when my colleague said thank u and goodbye...she again didn't look up at us with any respect..and still looking doing their work. I am sure she was loud enough..coz i was further away from her and i heard her...and I am known to be deaf! Now..that's a 'good' start. WAH!! Think they're so damn 'up there'...that they are not treating us with any respect. AND I HAVE YET to even go to the principal..who never onced looked at us and smiled..and simply looked away from us..ALL THE 5 DAYS we were there..tat's equivalent to 5 working days! like we're doing them some good FREE service...and since they're not paying us any money...who CARES about their service?! As if we're some kind of hindrance..and yes..one or two of the staff there DID make it known like we were some kind of hindrance to their national day rehearsals by remarking loudly that they could not carry on their lessons because of some stupid eye check.

And now i am sick..coz not onlie did I have to be drenched in the rain a bit coz had to share an umbrella with my colleague...the very very poor ventilation in the hallroom made me sick. The dusty area..which they allocated to us was never mopped cleaned..watsoever..it was very dusty..I know coz when i walked a few times, I almost slipped coz of the sand particles. EVERYONE there made me sick...the noise..the teachers' inconsideration during the rehearsals such as when they banged loudly on their instruments or some gawd-damned box because at some point the teachers were irritated that the children couldn't keep up with the piano or the rhythm. I heard so many insulting words thrown at the kids during the midst of their frustration...like blur sotong (err..blur..squid?)...that if the welfare people were to hear, this school is off the list..(WOO HOO!)..

And so...i have to endure with the noise pollution and had to shout coz the children were so not disclipined. I tell u hor...children nowadays..not scared of u one..if they have the chance..they step step step on ur head! haiz..ahem..that's all i have to say to future parents..if u think ur child is gonna be the sort who is so angelic...that u believe u gave birth to angels, good luck. So many times me and colleague told them to sit down and don't run around....and they kept doing what we told them NOT to do..and eventually one of them fell down..Then, her forehead kinda swelled prominently and she kept quiet for awhile. And at least, THAT helped her to sit down and not run anymore..It's like man....if the teacher ever lay a finger or shout one word at them...the parents will come down to the school quoting some famous lawyers name or some ministry of education connections that a written letter is all they need to get them fired. Like one of the principals in one school said after that one boy's father repeatedly created scenes at the school....'now that boy is like king. if the teacher scold one word to him..his dad will keep running at the school and screaming at the top of his lungs to scold the teachers.' Which is true..coz me and my colleague heard him shouting at the top of his lungs almost to the point he sounded screechy like some dumb blonde on drugs. They had to give him a sound advice for the sake of other children who were fearful too...eh..we were also fearful too...this job is hazardous!

Anyway...I am SO glad i'm having my weekend break now..phewh...even though i am down with flu..again. K, I PrOmise to eat my medicine now even though they're free coz they're paid by my company! So anyway..glad to have that wretched school off my back and on to more wretched schools too. People will always be people even if they teach their children that we have to help each other...remember our p's and q's...yawns.............................Enjoy ur weekend!~

Birthday Gathering & House Hunting

Last week, I celebrated a friend of mine's belated birthday together with another friend at her condo. Sadly, this would be the last time we would hold the celebration at her place because she has finally managed to sell off her condo unit after one year of looking for a buyer. Mostly we used the swimming pool facilities although the two of us didn't swim at all but just chill under the shade. We brought home cooked food and I really appreciated my friend for doing this for us, thinking about how the young son of a friend of us would love the swimming pool for kids. She is so selfless and kind to her friends and I'm truly blessed to have her in my life.  While one was selling off the house, the other friend was on the verge of getting a dream house for herself and her young son. In life, we have many priorities and things to look forward to. Each of our dreams and aspirations are different from one another, like for me, getting a house is not a priority at the moment.  ...

A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life.  He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most. You would always be the people's President. On the other spectrum, a young child had also lost his life. A few of my colleagues witnessed the events which unfolded in front of...
