"The Maid...WooooooooOOooooo....!"

I watched The Maid...yupz...that local horror movie being screened now...and off all the times..during the hungry ghost festival. That is a festival of which the chinese believe that the gate of hell opens and let all the hungry ghosts out who will exact revenge on those people who have done harm to them. And so..at this time too...the people will appease them with food, money and chinese opera to keep them happy and at the same time...at bay....so that they won't disturb them. They also have their sets of rules that cannot be broken...of which, if any of them are broken...and u don't ask for forgiveness..this whole hungry ghost month...u will suffer from bad luck...and...and....................................have the ability to see ghosts.

Yupz..actuallie u don't have to really watch the movie if u read the above commentaries..bwahahahaha...! Imagine..me...talking to you in a low...sexy...growl...voice. NO wait..that's not a gd idea. U will freak out the minute i say the first woRd! Heh heh...i am SO SO SO tempted to tell u the whole story here and get sued by that tong guy..who painstakingly produced the movie. What i can say though.....be prepared for shock tactics...like the ghost coming to you...IN YER FACE...!....all of a sudden for tat brief 2 seconds. Of course being a seasoned 'i know what is going to happen' cinema watcher...i kinda expected that and had actuallie closed my peepers halfway so that i don't get to see like the whole real thing...hahaha..told ya i suck at horror movies.

Okay...actuallie come to think of it....some parts don't quite make sense..like it's just added there for the sake of prolonging the movie.....but what irritates the heck out of me..is the continual sounds of sreeching metal door hinges that make this sound like the scrap metal scratching on the floorl...WAH..my ears!.....and then..of course lah the cliche....some shadowy figures keep moving across....eh shit..i'm frightening the hell out of me alreadi..ARGhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! (and no i wasn't kidding about that...)

what a moron...aniwae, the best thing about the movie is that i watched it during working hours!! bwahahaha....top that! And all coz of my team mate's brilliant idea of saying the driver was not available to fetch the equipments back to office the day before as he was supposed to fetch it on thursday..which is the actual day the screening at school is supposed to end.

Rite.................i dont think i want to get into too much details on this coz my company apparently spent an abundance of money spying their workers thru' theiR blogs....hahahahah..this is what i called deed done first..scared later. Alrite..that's my own saying lah..in case u're wondering eh, why so broken?!

Gawd i'm so so so excited..coz the moment has come. The moment has come for me to finallie perform my DIY manicure! woohoo! And yes..despite my religion disallowing us to paint our nails..they never say anything about making ur nails look nicer..! And this after being inspired by my colleague whom i observed for an hour...having her pedicure done. Wah, I must show u the picture of my nails later and then tell ya about this rich tai tai who apparently talked to herself thru' out the session of manicure and pedicure. Gawd............she can go on and on...about it and the manicurists were not reallie paying attention to her..like maybe everytime she comes in, she opens her mouth...talking as if we are a bunch of her rich tai tai friends...wah kaoz...

So check me nails out lateR!

Birthday Gathering & House Hunting

Last week, I celebrated a friend of mine's belated birthday together with another friend at her condo. Sadly, this would be the last time we would hold the celebration at her place because she has finally managed to sell off her condo unit after one year of looking for a buyer. Mostly we used the swimming pool facilities although the two of us didn't swim at all but just chill under the shade. We brought home cooked food and I really appreciated my friend for doing this for us, thinking about how the young son of a friend of us would love the swimming pool for kids. She is so selfless and kind to her friends and I'm truly blessed to have her in my life.  While one was selling off the house, the other friend was on the verge of getting a dream house for herself and her young son. In life, we have many priorities and things to look forward to. Each of our dreams and aspirations are different from one another, like for me, getting a house is not a priority at the moment.  ...

A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life.  He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most. You would always be the people's President. On the other spectrum, a young child had also lost his life. A few of my colleagues witnessed the events which unfolded in front of...
