Random Pics in April

Yes, random pics are back! I know I kinda skipped March :S coz I was just not in a mood coz of my personal financial troubles. I would say it is a little bit better now and I try not to be so complacent and mismanage my finances. However, I know I still have to keep the family going and try to please my mum as much as I can and be a good girl that I am so I still use money on a daily basis to buy household stuffs and groceries. But I try my best to cut down my expenses.

This week, I will get me some free munneh in the form of government payout and won't really get to spend them though it's er..free. It will just be used for future expenses. Okay, I may get one last make up item. I need an Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion. Basically without that, eyeshadows look bleh. I wanted to get a really cheap kind but it was out of stock and they replaced it with a primer with a shimmery base. Not that I don't like it, but I think it's not really suitable for all eyeshadows, for example the matte coloured ones.

Oh by the way, I finally get my cheque, wooh! After a long period of waiting, though it's kinda expected coz I paid them quite late too so it's like a tit for tat they reimburse me late too..pfft. Anyway, lucky thing I paid my 2010 tv and radio license fees in full or they would have used this year's reimbursement to pay it off instead and I will be left with nil.

Ok, now on to Random....Pics...of the..Month..month..month..month. (It's 2.30am in the morning)

Say hello to my brand new 3 in 1 printer! It's my bonus present :D

Not neglecting my skin no more! I like this moisturizer coz it has this instant brightening effect for a dull skin like mine.

They were both on promotion, I luv them both for morning spreads, so I bought both :S

A DIY card for my boss. Nice?! Ugly handwriting spoilt it.

Can't believe I got two Japanese brand chocolates on the same day from two different pple

Birthday Gathering & House Hunting

Last week, I celebrated a friend of mine's belated birthday together with another friend at her condo. Sadly, this would be the last time we would hold the celebration at her place because she has finally managed to sell off her condo unit after one year of looking for a buyer. Mostly we used the swimming pool facilities although the two of us didn't swim at all but just chill under the shade. We brought home cooked food and I really appreciated my friend for doing this for us, thinking about how the young son of a friend of us would love the swimming pool for kids. She is so selfless and kind to her friends and I'm truly blessed to have her in my life.  While one was selling off the house, the other friend was on the verge of getting a dream house for herself and her young son. In life, we have many priorities and things to look forward to. Each of our dreams and aspirations are different from one another, like for me, getting a house is not a priority at the moment.  ...

Being Broke AF, Phone Stopped Working & All Other Misery

So it hasn't been a great week last week. I was broke af and I was barely surviving although I managed to have some money I received from my online shop which helped me to stay afloat at least a day or two. And then the cycle starts again until Saturday where thankfully my brother got his salary earlier so he gave me my portion. Honestly, I was so poor I couldn't buy the bread, which was already discounted by the way, because it would exceed the budget that I had. Did I feel good about it? Of course not. But I didn't let it go to my head because it would just amplify my misery. I just tell myself that I will get over it.  Also, I don't want to be in this situation again because it's just not pleasant. But it does make me more  aware of what I should be doing to not be that broke again. I know that I could possibly be in that situation again which makes me more determined to not move backwards but look forward instead.  Oh and to add on to my misery, my phone s...

A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life.  He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most. You would always be the people's President. On the other spectrum, a young child had also lost his life. A few of my colleagues witnessed the events which unfolded in front of...
