It amuses me when people are so proud that they have a high IQ but they diss other people like nobody's business even over harmless comments. I can only say that they have such low EQ and this is bad coz we are, after all, part of a social circle where almost everyone has something to say, whether is it for the better or they're just saying out how they feel. Of course we don't always have to agree but why stoop so low as to call them names?
Actually, what we hear from what others have to say may not be the real deal as they may just be following what the majority is saying so they kinda get misinformed about the true facts. Yes, they are ignorant and probably is better off getting the right information before mouthing off but they're no idiots. Just..misinformed. So the people who know the actual situation should actually get things right by sharing the right info and dispel the myths instead of criticizing this group and call them names.
I guess people need to learn to be more tolerant towards others and concentrate on making the society a better place to live in and be aware that not everyone is as fortunate as them. Some of them, especially those who like to make a big hoohaa over nitty gritty stuffs, need to be in such eye opening situations where the living conditions are just so bad that getting clean and safe water is like a near impossible task. I think kids nowadays are just getting more and more pampered even though I would say they are far more intelligent too. It may seem like a harmless affair doing things for them or buying things for them but ultimately, we must know where to limit ourselves before these kids become spoiled brats when they grow up. Then, they will be such a nuisance to the society because they believe that in order for things to work for them, they need to change the world to suit them and not the other way round.
Before you mouth off, consider other people's feelings first and I know you don't really care especially if you of the strong opinion that you are right and others are wrong. Just think what if the tables are turned and you find yourself in sticky situations that you have difficulty getting out of and then you will know, that some things are not so easy to handle though it's easier said than done. Sure our mouth can say anything we want coz ultimately, it is our voice coming out of our mouth and not others. But surely, you can just hold your tongue first before you make ridiculous remarks that are so unjustified and unfair.
I guess we're in such comfy situations that from we stand, we may not clearly understand the impact we have on others based on what we have said. Friendships may sour and we may gain more enemies than friends but if you prefer that kind of life, well that's your prerogative then.
