This is a post celebration held at Breeks in Marina Square but nevertheless, it is still a celebration but this time, with my two other colleagues whose birthdays incidentally fell just days apart from another! Ain't that cool? We're like the september babies united! Haha..and I can't thank my other colleagues enough for the lovely surprise in the form of a delicious cake..and the pressies! Oh my gawd..I love the pressies! The bag..the blouse..they're so cool..I love you all!

Being a Teacher isn't Easy

I work with teachers but I'm not a teacher. I actually work in the admin department and I like my job though sometimes it can be challenging especially when I feel swarmed by it. Or when my boss keeps calling me for work related stuffs especially when she is doing the approval for payment or vetting through. So, the headache. Anyway, I can honestly say most teachers are really nice though some are really driving me up the wall. That or they are just simply aint nice but then, it is also because of their personality. But as teachers, they are really dedicated. I also deal with parents and honestly, they can be demanding and very irritating and they are not scared of the higher authority in school. To them, they are being like that all because they care for their children but they are overbearing as if they don't let their children make mistakes and learn. A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life. He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most. Our First Group Meeting After Graduation

It has been a long time coming since the last time we met was on Graduation Day although I did meet up with 3 of them quite recently for a birthday celebration. I somehow never seem to miss out on any of the gatherings including the time when we went to a coffee shop after our stressful Econs exam papers. Still don't know how we survived that miraculously..haha.. Anyway, I've always been a silent supporter to this friendly bunch of people who always make me feel inclusive knowing that I am a lady of few words, haha.
