Fun Photoshoot

My friends have been coming up with fun ideas to spend time with one another without spending too much money and few months back, we had a DIY spa session which turned out to be great though as usual I was sceptical coz Im not really a 'spa' person. I dunno..I just have this problem with people touching me or at very close range. I can't even hug properly for heaven's sake..haha.


So another brainwave came about again and we had this make up session cum photoshoot. I wanted to learn how to do smoky eyes so my friend later came out with another idea to just well...do an entire makeover for us! Plus it's free...whee!! I wouldn't say it's professional but who cares, the important thing was that we had fun being dolled up and posing though as usual, I can't pose to save my life much like dancing and singing.


But thank God for my patient friends whose creativity are beyond words know how to pose and where to pose and taught me along the way. Though I like most of the photos taken, I dunno..maybe heavy make up adds years to my age. In other words, I look quite old..haha. But that's just me.


So these are some of the photos that were taken. I edited some of the photos to give them a nice feel :) Just don't puke.

Birthday Gathering & House Hunting

Last week, I celebrated a friend of mine's belated birthday together with another friend at her condo. Sadly, this would be the last time we would hold the celebration at her place because she has finally managed to sell off her condo unit after one year of looking for a buyer. Mostly we used the swimming pool facilities although the two of us didn't swim at all but just chill under the shade. We brought home cooked food and I really appreciated my friend for doing this for us, thinking about how the young son of a friend of us would love the swimming pool for kids. She is so selfless and kind to her friends and I'm truly blessed to have her in my life.  While one was selling off the house, the other friend was on the verge of getting a dream house for herself and her young son. In life, we have many priorities and things to look forward to. Each of our dreams and aspirations are different from one another, like for me, getting a house is not a priority at the moment.  ...

A Reminder to the Living

Recently, we lost our former President when he passed away at the age of 92. He was known to have his heart for the people although those who worked closely with him couldn't actually picture him as that for he was a taskmaster when it came to work. He did his own narratives and do the best that he could as he knew where he came from and wanted to make good out of his life.  He showed that the circumstances that we are in can't stop us from going far in life. We should continue to focus on our actions, has strong dedication and when things get difficult, look at the bigger picture and understand why we are here. Ultimately, we should all be working towards the purpose we have in mind which makes things easier to cope. Thank you for helping the Singaporeans especially those who needed help most. Our First Group Meeting After Graduation

It has been a long time coming since the last time we met was on Graduation Day although I did meet up with 3 of them quite recently for a birthday celebration. I somehow never seem to miss out on any of the gatherings including the time when we went to a coffee shop after our stressful Econs exam papers. Still don't know how we survived that miraculously..haha.. Anyway, I've always been a silent supporter to this friendly bunch of people who always make me feel inclusive knowing that I am a lady of few words, haha.  We went to this restaurant called PU3 and although the service staff should really write down orders so that we don't always have to remind them that two of our drinks had not arrived get our orders wrong.
